VGSF receives doc.funds funding from the FWF

The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) has awarded the Vienna Graduate School of Finance a doc.funds grant with a funding volume of 2.3 million euros for the next four years. A great success for our unique PhD program, which is jointly supported by WU, the University of Vienna and the Institute for Advanced Studies.

With the doc.funds grants, the FWF is further expanding structured doctoral training at Austrian research institutions thanks to funding from the Fonds Zukunft Österreich and the BMBWF. This provides doctoral students with an excellent research environment, helping them pursue forward-thinking research questions and gain a foothold in their field of research. At the same time, the funding strengthens scientific excellence in research and teaching.
